Window Tint Reflection
Alabama state laws for window tinting requires the tinted material should not be reflective more than 20%. The same percentage is applicable for Cars and SUV’s or Multi purpose vehicles.

Medical Exemption
As per Section 32 – 5C- 4 Motor Vehicles and Traffic code, You may apply for an exemption from Window tint laws for certain medical conditions. Your physician should certify the application for Medial Exemption. The exemption may be issued with conditions and limitations prescribed by the Department of Public Safety.
Penalties for Violating Alabama Tint Laws
Any person who violate Alabama tint laws is guilty of a misdemeanor and for a first violation punishment by a fine of not more than $100, or by imprisonment for not more than 10 days.
In case of Second conviction for an offense committed within one year after the date of the first offense, the person shall be punished by a fine of not more than $200, or can go to jail for 30 days.
Subsequent violation within one year after the date of the first offense, the person shall be punished by a fine of not more than $500, or may go to Jail for 90 days.
